Welcome to Clarksville Veterinary Clinic

Have you heard???? Clarksville Veterinary Clinic is building a new building. The new location will be 815 South Highway 79, Clarksville. It is only a few blocks from where we are now. It will be a 2000 square foot facility devoted to treating your pets. The new facility will provide innovations and improvements that increase potential for advanced care, while maintaining the personal atmosphere and small town hospitality that people expect from Clarksville.

Ground was broke on May 1st. A small ground breaking ceremony was held. Several of the people attending included Mayor Joanne Smiley, Project Manager Paul Kolar, Chamber of Commerce President Nathatie Pettus, City Council Members Mike Russell and Mike Brewer, Bruce Griffith of the Mercantile Bank of Louisiana, CVC employees Donna Russell and Liz Nesmith, citizen Linda Blakey and Dr. Annette Dixon. The footings have been poured. We are on our way to a new beautiful building.

It is the first week of June and we are moving right along with the building. The exterior walls and trusses are all up. The windows are in. The roof is on along with a good portion of the siding. It may look like we should be moving in soon. However, it will take about two months to complete the interior. Completion of the parking lot is on hold until it drys out. And the flood waters will be testing our engineer's measurements. If the water stays around the 1993 mark, we should be fine.

We have also added laser surgery as an option for our patients. Laser surgery is a less painful form of surgery. Laser surgery has fewer complications, less bleeding, less risk of infection and greater comfort for the pet. Please call and ask us questions about it.
